This year’s awards was held yesterday Tuesday 14th March 2023 at the Accra International Conference Center. The awards were in two categories namely COVID and ITLOS but a third category was added which is the Order Of The Volta.
This third category was for the likes of Hon. Henry Quartey the MP for Ayawaso Central Constituency who doubles as the Greater Accra Regional Minister for his amerce dedication to making sure Accra becomes the cleanest city if not in Africa but in Ghana was part of the awardees.
A whole lot of the citizenries who dedicated their lives for Ghanaians during the COVID-19 pandemic especially those in at the frontline, health workers, security personals and lots more were awarded profusely.
The President of the Republic HE Nana Akufo Addo selfless words to the awardees was ” Ghanaians will forever be indebted to you for risking your lives to save the whole nation”.
