The star dubbed Ghana Black Stars team had to struggle to break through the Angolan defense at parked Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. A whole loads of chances were created though but the Angolan goal keeper Caprino Da Cruz nearly saves the day.
The match that seemed to be ending in a draw was heated up by Samenyo who scored a last minutes goal in the home soil for the black Stars to bagged 3 points in the AFCON qualifiers.
While Ghana was playing Angola, the Central African Republic also took on Madagascar which ended 3-0 in favour of the Central African Republic.
The return match for the Black Stars is on the 27th of March 2023, kick off at 4:00pm in the capital city of Angola, Luanda.
