Somewhere last weekend the dancehall legend and Godfather of Stonebwoy, Samini in an interview with Berla Mundi on her show was asked between Stonebwoy and Shattawale who will he (Samini) choose ?His answer was he will choose Shatta over stone his god son reason being when it comes to the industry Shatta is way above Stone.
“Shatta has been there way too long before Stone, I will say Stone, is to me an upcoming artist, sort of an underground”
This point of view of Samini sparked loads of uproar from Ghanaians especially the Bhim Nation Fans.
Since Stonebwoy is not in the country and currently in Australia having a show, he took a break during a performance over the weekend and asked his fans if they see him as an underground act and their response was a big fat NO!
Shattawale and Stonebwoy
Some of the industry gatekeepers are of the view that maybe Samini is jealous of his godson Stonebwoy success in the game because to them Stone’s achievements is there to showcase for the world to see. So if Samini is calling Stone and upcoming act, it beats their imagination.
