About two weeks ago, Shatta Wale announced the upcoming third edition of his annual “Freedom Wave Concert“. Which happens every December at Accra Sports Stadium.
Just that this year’s show is going to be different because it planned to be a festival instead of a musical concert. Instead of a day show, the flyer in circulation says that, it going to be a five day show starting from 20-25 December with line up of activities.

Ghanaians and the world at large were taken aback when the camp of Stonebwoy also released a flyer that says, Stonebwoy is going to hold his annual “Ashaiman to the world” concert which has been taking place in the last couple of years at the Sakasa park Ashaiman, will now take place at the same venue Shatta Wale will be having his festival with the date eating up into Shatta Wale’s show.

That developing story didn’t seat well with the self acclaim dancehall king has he vented his anger through a Facebook live.
Pouring insults on the creative council people headed by Gyankrama, president Nana Addo’s daughter, Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey the deputy minister of arts, culture and tourism not sparing the National Sports Authority CEO Prof for sabotage.
Yesterday 20th/9/23, Stonebwoy was at 3music studios, when asked in an interview about the incident, his answer was, “I don’t want to go there because it not what it seems on the outside, more over we have so many prominent and respectable individuals on this case and it will be disrespectful to them to go into details”.
In all, we at Tea-talk can boldly say that, the issue as been settled between the two musical giants. So let see how it goes in the coming days since December will soon approach.
