Almost four years ago in September 20th 2019 some people where picked up by the police in an alleged coup plotting.
Even though the trial is still ongoing, the main suspect in the treason case Dr. Frederick Mac- Palmer against President Akufo- Addo, has reportedly died.
It was reported that, he collapsed in the late hours of Saturday, 25th March 2023. He was confirmed dead upon arrival at an undisclosed hospital in Accra.
Dr. Mac-Palm together with two others ; Ezor Kafui and Bright Alan Debra Ofosu were on Friday 20th September 2019 picked up by a joint team from the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) and the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at Alajo in a suburb of Accra. For conspiracy to destabilized the country.
