When the NDC opened nominations for both presidential and parliamentary slots, Ghanaians were taken by surprise the rate at which the exuberant youth got involved.

After the closing of the nominations for the presidential, we saw the likes of Former President H E John Dramani Mahama who a form was picked on his behalf then the former mayor of the Greater Kumasi, Dr. Kojo Bonsu, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, former Finance Minister under the late president Atta Mills’s regime, lastly a business mogul who goes by the name Ernest Kwaku Krobia.

The four nominees

In regards of the parliamentary the youth took the center stage especially those in the entertainment circle. Just to mention few, we have the likes of Baba Saddick, CEO of 3 music fame, whiles in the Ayawaso West Wagon Constituency, John Demelo will be battling it out with his colleague Fred Nuamah in the film industry. Kojo Jones also stepping up for Keta constituency in the Volta Region.
