After Last year’s AfroChella Music and Art Festival, an announcement was made that, the festival is coming to an end. This saddens a lot of the music festival’s goers especially those from the diaspora.
But yesterday a co-founder of the festival who goes by the Ken Agyapong Jr. has set the records by saying the festival is going on a new surface of rebranding from AfroChella to AfroFuture.
According to him, in the early months of last year which is specifically February ’22, the founders came to a conclusion to change the name from AfroChella To Afrofuturism.
But non the less, the name which was later choosen was AfroFuture. So going forward the official name is now AfroFuture Music and Art Festival he added.
