The Ghana Education Service (GES) has dismissed eight students of the Chiana Senior High School in the Upper East Region for allegedly insulting President Akufo-Addo.
Prior to the dismissal, the students had been on suspension.
The GES says its investigation into the incident confirmed that the students used vulgar language against the President.
It has thus described the actions of the students as “very distasteful”, and contrary to the acceptable standards of the conduct generally required of any student in Ghana’s educational system.”

After the their dismissal was announced to them, they recorded another video crying their eyes out pleading with (GES) and the entire nation to forgive them.
Even though the harm has been done, The Child Right International Ghana thinks that’s not the right way to panelized the students.
