The Confederation Of African Football has announced the new date the AFCON will take effect. It was due to come on this year but has been pushed to January 2024 due to the weather conditions in Ivory Coast.

Ivory Coast is the host nation, the first match will take place at the Alhasan Quatara Studium in Adbijan. The first whistle will be blown on Saturday 13th January and the finals will be held on 11th February 2024.
