On Saturday, 11th February 2023, stakeholders in African music gathered in Lagos for the Soundcity MVP awards to celebrate the songs and artists that dominated 2022.
He was nominated with the likes of Nasty C from South Africa, Kaligraph from Kenya, legendary MI , Psycho, Chyn, Vector, Wakadinali and Lapidoe.
Picking up the award, he thanked his fans especially in Nigeria and the love he has for the African Giant as a whole and then to his Motherland Ghana.
The likes of Gyakie, Camido, KiDi and celebrated DJ Vyrusky were also nominated in various categories but failed to pick up an award over the weekend.
