The reigning champions of the Ghana Women’s League were beaten over the weekend by the Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

The game ended with a 1-1 draw in regulation time so a penalty was scheduled which ended up in favour of the Ampem Dakoa Ladies who defeated their opponent 5-4 on a penalty shot outs.

At the end of the tussle the Ampem Dakoa Ladies were crowned Champions of the Ghana Women’s League.
