As at the early week of this month, the Honorable Minister in charge of the Trade and Industry Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen handed over his resignation to the President. H.E Nana Addo.
The president then appoints Hon. Kenneth Ofori Attah as a care taker Minster to the trades and industry sector.
Since the effect of his resignation starts from today Monday16th January, he duly handed over as he posted on his facebook timeline.
” I had a successful handing over to the caretaker Minister, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, who has been tasked by His Excellency the President to assume responsibility for the Ministry of Trade and Industry pending the appointment of a substantive replacement”
Now he’s free of want to pursue his presidential ambition. Dubbed , Great Transformational Plan (GTP) for short.
Instresting times ahead as we look forward to the NPP presidential race with the likes of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Kwabena Adjei Agyapong, Dr. Mahumud Bawumia, Mr. Owusu Afriye Akoto the immediate former Agric Minister who also laid down his tools to lace his boots for the presidential race.
